Melanson Heath is proud to announce the admittance of two new Principals: Donna Yetter, CPA, CES, and Edward Boyd, CPA.

Donna Yetter, CPA, CES has been working in public accounting for over 30 years and is a part of the Commercial Services team out of the Greenfield, Massachusetts office. She joined the Melanson Heath team in 2007 and advises businesses and individuals on tax, management, and other accounting matters. She prepares corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate tax returns, as well as consults on business acquisitions and sales, and performs compilation and review services for financial reporting.

Ms. Yetter is local to the Franklin County area, having graduated from Mahar Regional High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Salem State in 1985 and has been a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts since 1991. In 2016, she received her CES, Certified Estate and Trust Specialist designation, which expands her range of services to include estate planning and asset repositioning on behalf of financial planning clients. Ms. Yetter is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Edward Boyd, CPA works in Governmental Services and has been with the firm since 2007. His experience is focused on governmental financial statement audits, OMB Circular A-133/Uniform Guidance single audits, as well as forensic audits and other special projects including risk assessment, performance audits, and reconciliation assistance. Annually, Mr. Boyd audits over 20 cities and towns, as well as audits of Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFRs) submitted to the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). In addition, Mr. Boyd also evaluates several CAFRs throughout the country annually as a member of the GFOA’s Special Review Committee.

Mr. Boyd received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating Cum Laude. He is a member of Delta Mu Delta, an international honor society in business, as well as an alumnus of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund. He holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA), the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee.
