Melanson Heath is proud to announce the admittance of two new Principals: Alina Korsak, CPA, and Alyssa Simard, CPA.
Alina Korsak, CPA, has been part of the Melanson Heath Auditing team since 2000 and works out of the Nashua, New Hampshire office. She is recognized as a versatile auditor with a passion for client service, extreme attention to detail, and a high desire to help staff members understand complex accounting and auditing issues.
Ms. Korsak received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Emmanuel College in Boston, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She holds memberships in the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA), Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AISCPA), and the National, New England, and local Government Finance Officers Associations (GFOA). Ms. Korsak is also currently a board member and Treasurer of Marguerite’s Place in Nashua.

They are what has gotten her to this point of becoming a principal at the firm,” said Scott McIntire, CPA, Principal. “Her discipline, character, passion for client service, and work/life balance makes me honored to now have her as part of our leadership team.”
Alyssa Simard, CPA, works in the Governmental and Nonprofit Services Department at Melanson Heath and has been with the firm since 2006. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Hampshire and practices out of the firm’s Manchester office. Since joining Melanson Heath, her experience has focused on financial statement audits, single audits, nonprofit tax compliance, internal control evaluations, and other special projects for several nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies (including counties, school districts, and regional planning commissions).
Ms. Simard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She holds memberships in the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
“I have had the pleasure of working with Alyssa for over 13 years. Her energy and talent motivates others, and I look forward to seeing her bring her ideas and dedication to her new role as principal,” commented Sheryl Stephens-Burke, CPA, MST, Principal. “She is going to make an excellent addition to our leadership team.”
