Melanson Heath is proud to announce the admittance of two new shareholders: Joseph Domagala, CPA, MST, and Deborah Tarbox, CPA. The exciting news was revealed at our annual meeting held in Leominster, Massachusetts. Staff responded enthusiastically to the announcement; cheering, applauding and welcoming the newest additions to the Shareholder team.
The first Shareholder announced to the Firm was Joseph Domagala, CPA, who practices in our Nashua, New Hampshire and Ellsworth, Maine offices. Mr. Domagala has been with Melanson Heath since 1998. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, and has over twenty years of experience in all aspects of corporate, partnership, and individual tax preparation. Mr. Domagala is a Director for the Firm’s Tax and Commercial Business Services Department, where he is responsible for reviews, compilations, and the Firm’s quality control for such engagements.
Joe obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Maine. He then received his Master of Science degree in Taxation from Bentley University. Joe is very involved in his community, and is currently a Board of Director and Vice-Chairman for the James Russell Wiggins Downeast Family YMCA in Ellsworth, Maine.
The next Shareholder announced to the Firm was Deborah Tarbox, CPA. Deborah is a Certified Public Accountant and has been with the Firm since 1999. Deborah operates out of the Manchester, New Hampshire office alongside Joseph T. O’Connor, CPA. Deborah has over twenty years of experience in the field, and is the Audit Director of the Firm’s Commercial Services and Employee Benefit Plan practice units. Her areas of expertise include commercial audit, tax compliance, and management advisory services.
Ms. Tarbox received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and holds professional memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA). Ms. Tarbox’s prior and present community involvement includes being an active member and club secretary of the Gilford Rotary Club, board member and treasurer for the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region, member of the finance committee of Central NH VNA & Hospice, as well as board member and treasurer of Home Health & Hospice Care.
With twelve shareholders now in place, and a brand new logo design and social media presence, staff and management of Melanson Heath are excited about the future of the company.
