John has worked in the field of governmental, commercial, and not-for-profit services since 1972, providing auditing, fraud and forensic services to organizations in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire. John currently heads up the Firm’s fraud investigation division and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
John’s experience includes risk assessments and internal control evaluations, budget monitoring and assistance, fraud investigation, systems design, performance audits, special audits, training and support.
Fraud and Forensic services include the identification and detection of fraud, documentation of loss, criminal and civil litigation support, recovery through insurance and asset search, arbitration and mediation support and providing support to federal, state and local law enforcement. He has developed and provides fraud prevention training to governmental entities and related professional associations.
Professional Memberships and Community Involvement
John has instructed courses for Western New England College, budgeting in the Masters of Public Administration program at American International College, as well as courses sponsored by the Massachusetts Municipal Auditors’ and Accountants’ Association, the New England, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and Rhode Island chapters of the Government Finance Officer’s Association, the Massachusetts Association of School Business Officials, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. and the New Hampshire Bar Association. He also provides training in receivables reconciliations at the annual school of the Massachusetts Treasurer/Collector’s Association.
